Claim Back Money You Are Owed!!I have just come into a small fortune due to a forgotten about savings account. While sorting through some paperwork this weekend I found an old Leeds Building Society account book (they were bought out by Halifax). It was savings account that my Nan had set up for me when I was a baby and I was allowed access to the funds when I passed my driving test. I haven't used the account since 1997 and there was a balance of about £36 still in there. So I though I would check it out and see if the account was still active and try and get the money back. Well, after 10 years, it had gone from £36 to £102!!!!!!!!! Which is fantastic (especially at this time of the month - wages from last month getting low and still 10 days till next pay day) I thought I would share this with you all - Get digging out your old account books. Who knows what fortunes you might have lurking. It's your money - don't let Gordon get his hands on it!!
